A Facebook Connection Grows
Michelle and Chad met on Facebook Dating in October 2021, with friend Donna Lancaster vouching for his character since she was a “mutual friend.” Michelle and Chad grew up a few miles from each other, Michelle in Grainger County and Chad in Hawkins County. If prompted by this fact, Chad will tell you it would have been a collect call for the two of them to talk if they knew one another in high school.
The Plan
Chad and Michelle plan to have a small ceremony in July.
A celebration of Michelle and Chad’s marriage will be held Saturday, July 25, 2026, at 7 p.m. at the home of April Street, located at 117 King Drive in Gray.
Dress Casual. It’s a party.

Chad’s kids, Keenan, Willa and Ava are a big part of the equation and we are thankful they’ve shared in the journey, along with great friends and family. Although we havent got everything figured out yet – like what our zip code will be – we are excited about the journey and finding each other!

Is this the wedding?
No. We are having a small wedding on July 11th with family. This is for the reception/party on July 25th. Hope to see you there. Please RSVP above.
Is there a dress code?
Casual. We want you to be comfortable.
Is the couple registered?
There will be a “Home and Honeymoon” box available at the celebration if you’d like to wish them well. They are also registered at Amazon.
Where do we park?
There are spaces in April’s driveway, the grass in front of the house, as well as the lot just beyond her driveway in front of the “creepy cabin” (you’ll know it when you see it.)
